Allison is a law clerk in the firm’s Corporate Services Department and a member of the Franchising Group. She brings more than 10 years of specialized experience in Canadian franchise law, developed during her time at Recipe Unlimited Corporation. In that role, Allison was responsible for the preparation of franchise disclosure documents, franchise and related agreements, and other legal documentation for a broad portfolio of well-known restaurant brands, including Swiss Chalet, Harvey’s and New York Fries.
Allison has extensive experience supporting all stages of the franchise life cycle, including new locations, renewals, transfers and the conversion of corporate locations to franchised locations. She is well-versed in single-unit and multi-unit transactions, and highly proficient in the detailed review and summary of key franchise agreement terms. Allison efficiently updates disclosure documents to comply with fiscal year-end requirements and ensures all material facts are accurately reflected.
