Kyle appreciates the complex nature of tax law and uses a logical approach when providing advice. He is a strong communicator and is committed to building trusted relationships with his clients. Understanding the various tax implications, Kyle offers quantifiable value that impacts his clients’ businesses in a meaningful way.

Kyle is a member of the firm’s Tax and Tax Controversy/Tax Litigation Groups, as well as the firm's Indigenous Practice Group. He advises large corporations on Canadian commodity tax matters, including goods and services tax (GST), harmonized sales tax (HST) and provincial sales tax (PST), as well as on other indirect tax planning and litigation. Kyle works on transactions for clients across a variety of industries, including financial services, natural resources, communications, real estate, retail, energy, healthcare, technology and manufacturing sectors. His practice also involves advising on First Nations tax planning and cryptocurrencies.

Prior to joining Aird & Berlis, Kyle practised at a large Canadian tax law firm.
