Ashton is a law clerk in the firm’s Real Estate Group. Ashton has experience in both commercial and residential real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions and financings. Her responsibilities include preparing detailed title and off-title memorandums; drafting and reviewing agreements of purchase and sale; drafting and reviewing closing documents; preparing and submitting documents with respect to trustee/beneficial ownership transfers; ordering and negotiating title insurance policies; liaising with clients, solicitors and municipal offices; and preparing and registering various electronic documents related to closings and condominium development.
