Cecilia has more than 35 years of experience advising private company clients on corporate/commercial legal matters. She proactively advises on legislative changes that impact their businesses and notifies them of opportunities in the market. Cecilia works closely with her clients to take advantage of the changes in technology and the global economy.
Cecilia is a member of the firm’s Corporate Group and Co-Leader of the Healthcare Group. Her practice focuses on advising the owners, managers and equity investors of private companies on matters such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financings and restructurings. With respect to succession planning, she works with private clients, both shareholders and corporations, to address and deal with planning through next generation, management or third party buyers.
Cecilia specializes in negotiating and structuring shareholder, partnership, joint venture and other forms of ownership agreements, and advises on corporate governance issues, reorganizations and general corporate/commercial and contractual work. Her clients range from large international corporations to start-ups spanning numerous industries.
