Dasha is a confident and compassionate litigator with a focus on labour and employment law. As a Co-Leader of the firm’s Sports & Entertainment and Workplace Law Groups and a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group, her practice focuses on various employment and labour-related matters, such as drafting contracts and policies, grievances and collective bargaining, as well as civil and commercial actions involving employment disputes. Dasha regularly advises clients with respect to human rights and accessibility issues in the workplace, and frequently conducts policy, ethical and statute-driven investigations for a wide range of clients. Dasha works with Indigenous Nations, Indigenous‑governed organizations and Indigenous service providers on labour and employment matters, including issues that intersect with governance.
Dasha has appeared as counsel before a variety of courts and tribunals in Ontario, including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Divisional Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
As a former Canadian national team athlete, two-time Pan American champion and long-time athlete advocate and trusted sport advisor, Dasha assists athletes and artists, as well as the organizations that champion them, with a focus on governance. She brings the same level of focus and competitive energy to helping her clients meet their business objectives.
