His practice focuses on private Canadian mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, typically involving target businesses with enterprise values ranging from $10 million to $500 million. Devon advises professionals, entrepreneurs, owner-operators and private equity sponsors across the business lifecycle, from structuring and growth to strategic transactions and transition planning. His experience includes private equity investments, capital raises, shareholder arrangements and tax-driven reorganizations, as well as cross-border mandates. Devon’s transaction work spans a broad range of industries, including regulated professional practices, insurance, financial services, manufacturing, agribusiness, retail and luxury apparel, hospitality, energy and transactions involving intellectual property and technology assets.
