Jasmine brings a balanced and informed perspective to municipal and land use planning matters, shaped by her dual background in planning and law.
Jasmine is a member of the firm’s Municipal, Land Use Planning & Development Group. She advises on all aspects of the Planning Act, Municipal Act, 2001, and other development-related statutes. Her understanding of the evolving legal landscape, combined with her appreciation of stakeholder interests, enables her to effectively advance the land development process. She regularly represents homeowners, developers and municipalities before the Ontario courts and administrative tribunals, including the Ontario Land Tribunal.
Prior to entering private practice, Jasmine worked as a land use planner for several years and completed a judicial clerkship at the Federal Court of Canada. Together, these experiences equip her with practical insight into municipal and judicial decision-making.
Jasmine is a member of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
