Lauren recently completed her first year at Queen’s University Faculty of Law. At law school, she served as a Volunteer Editor for the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal and as a member of the Law Students’ Society Admissions Committee. She also competed in the Queen’s Competition and Antitrust Law Moot, where she was recognized as a Top Oralist. Lauren volunteered as a Project Lead with Pro Bono Students Canada, where she collaborated with the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce to develop and deliver a presentation for Kingston business owners on navigating municipal laws. Prior to law school, Lauren earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Toronto, with a double major in Biology and Sociology, graduating with High Distinction. During her undergraduate studies, she gained experience in a variety of professional roles, including as a Customer Service Summer Student at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and as a Regulatory Compliance Intern at a provincial professional regulatory body. Outside of her studies, Lauren enjoys challenging herself in Pilates classes, spending time at local cafes with friends and trying new restaurants.
