Lawrence’s technical background gives him significant insight in a technological world and practical experience when advising clients on intellectual property matters. He is dedicated to achieving the best possible outcome for his clients, working collaboratively with them to develop efficient and effective solutions.

Lawrence is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Group and a registered Canadian trademark agent. He represents clients in a variety of sectors, including the creative and innovative industries, defending and enforcing their intellectual property rights. Lawrence also assists clients in managing trademark portfolios and protects their rights online against counterfeiting and fraud. He draws from his extensive intellectual property expertise, which includes obtaining and executing Anton Piller and Norwich orders.

Lawrence has appeared and argued before the Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Trademarks Opposition Board and Patent Appeal Board.
