Matilda is a natural problem solver who is dedicated to fully understanding and protecting her clients’ interests. Recognizing the value that expertise generates for clients, Matilda brings technical and strategic acumen to every challenge and opportunity created by an insolvency.
Matilda is a member of the firm’s Financial Services and Litigation & Dispute Resolution Groups. Her insolvency law practice focuses on corporate-commercial litigation, primarily under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act. She acts on behalf of banks, asset-based lenders, creditors and various court-appointed officers.
