Matthew summered with the firm in 2025. He recently completed his third year of the JD/MBA program at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and Rotman School of Management. At law school, Matthew serves as President of both the JD/MBA Association and the Faculty of Law Athletic Association. He worked as an associate researcher in the Future of Law Lab’s Artificial Intelligence and Client Services Working Group. He also worked as a teaching assistant in the Department of Economics. Prior to law school, Matthew spent several years as a Collections Analyst at a major Canadian bank, helping to restructure and collect on delinquent accounts. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Vancouver Island University, where he was a member of the varsity men’s volleyball team. In his free time, Matthew enjoys watching live sports, playing volleyball and running.
