Mistrale enjoys the tangible, long-term impacts of working in real estate, as well as providing solution-oriented advice to assist her clients in making the best decisions for their projects.

Mistrale is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Group and Financial Services Group. Her practice focuses primarily on Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia commercial real estate, specifically acquisition and construction financing, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and joint ventures. Her real estate experience includes acting for lenders and borrowers, vendors and purchasers, landlords and tenants, as well as REITs and other companies with large real estate portfolios.

Mistrale has additional experience working on domestic and cross-border lending transactions, including syndicated credit facilities, senior and subordinated/mezzanine financings, asset-based lending, CMBS and project financing. She has represented both lenders and borrowers in a range of industries, including real estate development, technology, energy, retail and manufacturing.

Mistrale is also a member of the firm's Associates Committee and actively contributes to its mentorship initiatives for students and associates.

MediPharm Labs Corp. Completes Acquisition of VIVO Cannabis Inc.

In December 2022, MediPharm Labs Corp. (TSX:LABS) (“MediPharm”) and VIVO Cannabis Inc. (TSX:VIVO) (“VIVO”), two global leaders in the medical wellness cannabis industry, entered into a definitive arrangement agreement whereby MediPharm was slated to acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of VIVO, in an all-equity business combination transaction under section 192 of the Canadian Business Corporations Act (the “Arrangement”). Effective April 1, 2023, MediPharm and VIVO completed the Arrangement. As a result of the Arrangement, VIVO has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of MediPharm, and the common shares of VIVO (the “VIVO Shares”) are anticipated to be de-listed from the Toronto Stock Exchange on or about April 4, 2023.
