Ryan’s background in business gives him valuable insight and practical experience when representing clients on capital markets and securities matters. He applies his strong attention to detail to a range of transactions, including debt and equity financings and go-public transactions for domestic and international clients. Ryan is the ultimate team player and is committed to providing exceptional client service.
Ryan is a member of the firm’s Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions Groups. His practice focuses on corporate finance, securities law, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. He also advises on compliance matters, including corporate governance requirements and continuous disclosure obligations. He works with public and private companies across a variety of sectors, including technology, real estate, mining and cannabis.
Prior to joining Aird & Berlis, Ryan practised at a leading international law firm and in the Corporate Finance Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission. He has also held positions at a large financial services company and a high-growth technology startup.
