Stefan maintains a general commercial real estate practice, representing condominium and land developers. His strong analytical skills and technical knowledge enable him to thoughtfully deconstruct and resolve legal issues faced by his clients. Stefan’s blended expertise in the private and public sectors equips him with valuable insight and the ability to appreciate both sides of a transaction. As a meticulous and highly responsive lawyer, Stefan cultivates trusting relationships with his clients, prioritizing their satisfaction at every stage of a project or transaction.
Stefan is a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Construction Groups. His practice focuses on the acquisition and disposition of commercial, industrial and mixed-use properties, condominium development and real estate financings, with a particular focus on land development matters. He also has extensive experience in advising on licensing, expropriations and easement transactions.
Prior to joining Aird & Berlis, Stefan was a solicitor in the City of Toronto’s Legal Services Division (Real Estate Law section) where he represented the City in a wide variety of real estate and land development matters.
