Cynthia Sefton and David Reiter acted as counsel to Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc. in a case in which there was an explosion caused by an excavator damaging an underground pipeline at a west-end Toronto strip mall. The provincial charges under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Technical Standards and Safety Act were dismissed on a motion for a directed verdict.
