Shell acquires Emission Treating Specialist, Cansolv Technologies Inc.

Shell Global Solutions International B.V. acquired 100 per cent of the shares of Cansolv Technologies Inc. ("Cansolv"), a developer of "scrubbing" technologies to capture industrial gas emissions. Aird & Berlis LLP assisted Cansolv and its board of directors in considering various strategic options available to Cansolv and structuring a sale transaction which the board of directors could recommend to more than 45 shareholders of Cansolv. Aird & Berlis LLP also assisted in the completion of the closing of the transaction.
