Hyatt Brothers Purchase Control of DataStealth Inc.

On October 13, 2023, control of Toronto-based cybersecurity firm DataStealth Inc. was acquired by Canadian tech entrepreneurs, Michael and Richard Hyatt.

As part of the transaction, DataStealth retained its senior management team, including co-founders Ed Leavens and Marc Carrafiello, each of whom continues to hold a significant stake in the company. DataStealth aims to help large organizations discover, classify and protect sensitive data and documents using its patented technology.
